Visitor Visa

A Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), also known as a Canada Tourist Visa or Visitor Visa, is an official document issued by a Canadian Visa Office that is placed inside your passport to showcase that all the requirements are met for admission to Canada as a temporary resident. 

There are a list of requirements that are needed to be fulfilled for a Canadian Visitor Visa. This requirement include, 
  • A valid passport for travel
  • be in good physical and mental condition
  • have no criminal related convictions
  • Evidence that you have connections such as home, job, financial assets or family and will be returning to your home country
  • Proof that you will be leaving Canada at the end of your visit
There are a number for basic requirements for a Canadian visitor visa. This requirements include:
  • have a valid travel document (passport)
  • be in good health
  • have no criminal or immigration-related convictions
  • prove that you have ties such as a job, home, financial assets or family that prove you will be returning to your home country
  • prove that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit
  • have enough money for your stay which depends  where and how long you stay
